Former Tory council leader guilty on four counts of misconduct

Former Conservative Thanet District Council leader Sandy Ezekiel has been found guilty of four counts of misconduct in public office concerning the purchase of property.

The 59-year-old, of Crow Hill, Broadstairs, was found to have committed the offences between September 22, 2009, and February 24, 2011.

The jury at Maidstone Crown Court reached a unanimous verdict today (Friday, March 1) on all charges.
