Warren Bradley Liverpool City Council stands down

A party spokesman said: "Mr Bradley has stood down as leader of the Liverpool Liberal Democrat group."

Mr Bradley's decision to stand down is connected with allegations that he witnessed an election nomination for his teenage son Daniel for the May 5 contest. The Liverpool Daily Post reported his son has said he did not want to stand and that his own signature on the form is "a fake".

A Lib Dem spokesman said: "We can confirm that Warren Bradley's resignation has been accepted with immediate effect.

My comment: Witnessed his son signing an election nomination form which his son denies signing, isn't that illegal? And who did he witness faking his son's signature? :)
