A COUNCIL run by one of Britain’s highest-paid bosses came under fire yesterday for spending nearly £60,000 on tea and coffee for staff.
Suffolk County Council has spent £59,095 on refreshments in council offices since January 2010 despite threatening to cut public services to save money.
Cllr Cann said: “It is normal in most businesses for employees to provide their own tea and coffee-making facilities.
My comment: I'll drink to that - after buying it myself of course. Not only is Andrea Hill dipping her bread in the taxpayer funded gravy she is also dipping her taxpayer funded biscuits in her taxpayer funded tea.
